Pointsincase.com Meets Coletrain.org - Case in Point or Trainwreck?

Most people who know me understand that once I engage in something that truly interests me - I dig until I find out all there is to know about the subject. One need only look around my house to see the heavy influence of fencing in my life, fraternity memoriblia from my college years and beyond, and Asian influenced art filling my living room - because I like hot Asian chicks.
The same goes for this site. I have ran internet sites in years past, but never with this much fervor - because I was always broke before and had other things going on. Yet in these last five months I have learned about what it takes to build a strong website with steady traffic, how ad money is generated and who generates the most, and how a website allows you to make a lot of money in your underwear.
Hanging out with Court Sullivan of Pointsincase.com added a lot to my knowledge base. An unassuming graduate of Emory University, he spent the last five years building a hilarious internet site with a strong base of writers, great traffic, and has made a good bit of C.R.E.A.M while at it. I met him when I learned that he was having a party weekend in Atlanta - and I found out that one of my fraternity buddies from Minnesota, Chad Chamley, was going to be flying in for the festivities.
What I also learned is that the writers at PIC love to drink and are a lot of fun - if not a little nuts. After some drinks at Gordon Bierch in midtown Atlanta, Court, Chad, Mike Faerber, and Nate Degraaf piled into my car and we drove to a small comedy club. (Fun fact - Nate Degraaf was accepted to Washington University - and all the strip clubs he writes about are in East St. Louis!) On the way there we had a wild discussion of all the crimes that we have collectively committed (Coletrain.org fully expects everyone obey the law.), and I surprised myself by being able to hold my own in this conversation. Perhaps there is a silver lining for being pulled over 22 fucking times by Minnesota police in two years for "Driving While Black."
At the comedy club, a group was performing improv that was influenced by the audience. So whenever the leader needed ideas for a sketch, Nate would shout out "crackwhores!" Of course, this kind of humour gets old fast - except when it catches on. It seems like a good 40% of the audience believed that nothing was funnier than crackwhores, and they shouted it at every opportunity. Is there anything funnier than crackwhores? This annoyed the host even more than the redneck who called him a "queer" from the audience. Welcome to Georgia.
Saturday was the PIC Prohibition Party - celebrating both the end of Prohibition in the United States and the inception of the PIC website. The party was a bit small (between 20-25 people), but the twenties styled party-goers were thirsty. Always the professional, I came in with a bottle of champagne and a bottle of Hypnotiq - and both bottles disappeared in the span of six minutes flat. Impressive. While both the guys, girls, and Nate Degraaf were more laid back than I expected - it was still a good time. I played two games of beer pong (one game too many) and met some interesting people and cool girls from the area. I'm definitely glad I came. I was disappointed I didn't meet Ali Wisch - attractive cool girls who have some idea about how to deal with guys are hard to find.
I would like to thank Court and Chad for having me at the event - and wish the best to them and all the writers at Points In Case. Here's to another five years.

Thanks for the shout out. I had fun that weekend despite having the shit scared out of me by your fencing dummy. Thanks for putting me up that night.
Chad Chamley is a plagiarizing fuckwad:

Chad Chamley was recently dismissed writing for the Points in Case website for proven plagiarism.
