Apple Truly Is Un-PC
Many of you have probably seen the new Apple commercials. If you haven't here is the rundown. They consist of two men standing in a perfectly white and empty room having a discussion. One is white, balding, noticably overweight, wearing glasses and has on a cheap suit. He is meant to be the boring everyday PC. The other is white yet tanned a bit, has a full head of wild hair, slender, and dressed like a spokesmodel for American Eagle. He is the Mac. Their conversations consist of reviews from the press - with the Mac getting glowing reviews from the Wall Street Journal; vulnerability to viruses, restarting, and other computer issues.
What got my attention was the ad devoted to networking. The ad starts oddly enough with the two men/computers holding hands. This symbolizes networking - how gay is that. Things turn interesting when a cute Japanese girl enters the room and holds hands with Mr. Mac. Mr. PC is obviously concerned - why does this asshole get the girl? Macs are designed to easily work with peripheral equipment, hence the holding hands with the girl. Here the Japanese girl represents - the digital camera. Sure many digital camera companies are in Japan, but my sinister mind thinks that Apple is making a subtle play into the Asian camera stereotype.
And that is very very un-PC.
EDIT: Not enough un-PC video for you? Check out this remix of "The Ten Commandments!"

I think the suggestion of a yellow fever 3-way is even more un-PC. How did you miss that?
I was about to make a comment about whom Apple should hire to represent Linux, but I realize I'm already on thin ice with the PC police, and even I'm not that mean...
