Katherine McPhee deserves to win because she is hot. I have no other criteria to go on because I have never watched the show.
However, Miss Daisy has been gushing about the possibility of doing a romantic remise of "Hard Rock Hallelujah" with Eurovision winner Lordi.
I just think while all of the US watches these two imbeciles try to convince America that they have some legit talent why wouldn't you rather watch Eurovision which is American Idol only infinitely more schmaltzy, entertaining, campy and wildly insane. They have PERFECTED the American Idol formula to the nth degree and even add nationalism in to the mix. It's the greatest!
Lordi? I saw that on BBC's news report. My lord, it is very true that Europeans tend to be 10-30 years behind trends set in the US. "Hair" bands died out a long time ago.
As for American idol, I saw the report just now on MSNBC. I've never watched the show, but I must say that the guy looks dorkier than I do, which says a hell of a lot. I also would never say shit like "Soul Patrol" in reference to my fans. God help us all....
I agree with Matt. McPhee deserves it because she has nice knockers.
Yeah, but if Katharine had won, there's no way she could be in Playboy for years. Any ideas on whether there are restrictions on 2nd place?
