"Not All Wrongdoing is Criminal..."

Lund on left, the good looking one
The worst part about the whole mess with Julia Lund and her mess with a student at Chaska High School is that I've actually been to Chaska. And had I known there was a teacher there who was lonely, horny, blonde, and hot I would have at least presented her the option of completely legal comforting, if you get my drift.
In fact I am more than willing to make myself available to any horny attractive teacher around the world whose only alternative is some punk underage student. Only, she has to pay my way. Hey, it is 100 times cheaper than any insuing legal defense bills.
And while Julia actually walked on the charges against her (the kid wasn't her student and was 17 anyway), I still maintain that unless you are ugly as sin, banging your students shouldn't be an option. Call me crazy.

First comment... her husband is still with her? That's crazy!
On a more personal note, I once dated a high school teacher while I was in high school and I don't think that is criminal misconduct if the teacher is not your teacher. My boyfriend did not teach at my high school, so there was no power imbalance in our relationship based on his career.
1)Really? No fucking way. This is H, right?
2)While the age of the student is always the linchpin, on a fundamental level it is usually inappropriate for high school teachers to date high school students period. Obviously, the (albeit odd) exception is if both are consenting adults. In most cases the student is too immature to make rational judgments about his/her world and serious relationships in it. We tolerate two minors fumbling around, but a HS teacher is obviously in a position to take advantage of the minor student.
3) Seriously? No way! Why aren't you a Newt Gingrich fan?
